Follow Up Emails Easiest Autoresponder Install

Get this free version of a Smart Autoresponder.
(I have evaluated a bunch of autoresponder, this is the best free one that I know about.)

It is called "Email Marketing Assistant".

The one significant thing missing is a double opt-in system. The double opt-in system that automatically sends the subscriber an email requiring them to click a link in order to get added to your list. You will want this at some point.  But if you just want to see what installing a script is like, this is a nice one to try.Oh, it is a script that runs on your website. If you don't have a website this is one of the strongest reasons to get one. It will run on inexpensive ($5/month) hosting. I am going to add it to the hosting package that I give my Executive Affiliates. I will install it on their website for them.

Follow up should be done promptly and regularly after that. Don't let too much time go by before you contact a new affiliate.

If you are sending any new lead through your own website so that you might persuade her to give you her Name and Email address and her permissison to send her follow up information, you will have that in your database of some sort.

This free version will autogenerate the html code that you copy/paste into a webpage to create the signup form!

If they are in your downline from another Sponsor, then you may not have their email address, but you should be able to contact them through SFI's Contact Manager. In that contact try to send them to your website to sign up for your newsletter, follow up mailing list. Or give them some reason to send an email to you. That email will have a return address on it and they will have initiate contact with you directly.

If we look at a new affiliate, starting their Affiliate list, it will come slowly. But, the time to automate follow up is at that stage, NOT later, when you have too much to do, anyway. So start early to put together your follow up list.

You can handle it in the very early stages when you are getting an affilate or two each week or even each day, by just creating a Welcome email - then copy/pasting that into a new email addressed to each new affiliate. (You do know about copy/paste??)

But the problem comes in when you try to keep up with which of your follow up emails you sent to each person last.

The Smart Autoresponder is the program that solves this problem and gives you more at the same time.

The Smart Autoresponder is capable of sending out a sequence of email messages, at specified intervals to a list, and personalizes the messages with their name and enters their email address and sends the mail for you all automatically, once you have it setup.

Contact Manager cannot do this for you. It is a Broadcast system. It sends the same message to a given group of people. But it is for those affiliates who have nothing better. You should get something better as soon as you can. The sooner you do, the less you will have to enter into the system.

There will be instructions for installing the script. Once you download and unzip the files, look for:
instllationguide.html (they misspelled it) for the steps to install and
00readme.html for the Intructions on Using the Autoresponder.

It will require you to upload files, change permissions on the files, create a database in MySQL from your hosting control panel, create a user and set that user's password. But it really sounds more complicated than it really is.

Note: (from personal experience- I goofed here.)
When you create the database in MySQL and a user and password for that database it will be
that database name, user and password that you will fill into the boxes when you run the install.db.php script during the install. If you don't get this right it will stall on you here. I did not get it right but an email to support got me help within an hour.

Once installed, you login to the autoresponder by going to the folder that you installed it in as for example:
http://mydomain.com/ema/home.php login and create your follow up email campaigns.

You could probably get it done in an hour or two.

The next script installation you do will be easier. Keep notes as you go through the process.

Then you can teach your affiliates to do it.

Remember, Learn, DO, Teach to duplicate and grow your business.
